Project Description

Design Inside was brought on to this project to help redesign a dated Kitchen and Bathroom in this Andersonville condo. When we arrived on site for the initial consultation, the bathroom was functional but out of date. The existing cabinets were in a dated oak door style, and the plastic shell shaped sink didn’t help the look. The client’s main goal was to have us design a beautiful bathroom that would allow them to correct the main issues previously listed all before their newborn baby arrived in 6 months. We were up to the challenge.

The new bathroom features the following:

  • The main focus was to design a transitional space that replaced the out-dated cabinetry and shower with a clean modern look.
  • We selected cabinetry from Mid Continent that is topped with Silestone countertops and a undermount sink, giving the bathroom a durable surface that is easy to maintain.
  • A clean and simple oil rubbed bronze faucet with matching knobs and accessories create a clean modern look while still giving the bathroom a warm, comfortable feeling.
  • The flooring is a ceramic tile that looks and feels like slate, but is more durable and resistant to stains.
  • We added 4″ recessed ceiling lights to create adequate ambient light to compliment the schoolhouse wall sconces.
