Tasteful and sophisticated, yet playful – that was our goal with this transitional family room. We took the space from feeling unfinished to warm and inviting with cozy wood tones and attractive soft seating. Unique artwork selections and accessories bring the space together.

Soft Touches, Clean Lines

To bring a touch of elegance to the space, we selected soft seating with sweeping arms. The tufted back on the loveseat is a nod to the traditional, but the clean lines of the glass and steel tables keep the atmosphere contemporary. A vase of fresh flowers brings life and softness to the room.

Standing Bookshelves with Warm Media Cabinet

Centered on the wall, this media cabinet brings warmth and texture to the space, and coordinates with the other medium wood tones. Leaning bookshelves on either side offer a whimsical way to display accessories and personal photos.

Muted Colors, Bold Geometry

Balancing the low horizontals of the loveseat are a beautiful pair of tall art pieces. The bold geometric shapes add movement and visual interest, while the muted, earthy colors are in keeping with the palette of the space.

Silver and Gold, Silver and Gold

Who says you can’t mix metals? Silver and gold accessories lend a touch of sparkle to this family room; check out how the gold geometric sculpture contrasts with the organic shape of the silver log.
