This Chicago bachelor had an underutilized lofted space that opened up to a rooftop deck with sweeping city views. The homeowner wanted us to create a place that would be great for entertaining his guests.
For this wet bar interior design project, we designed the cabinets and selected all of the furniture, lighting, and window treatments. Then, we managed the construction project for him.
Bright and Bold Seating
Since space was at a premium, we specified a small orange lacquered table with 2 metal chairs, perfect for sipping your morning coffee while watching the sun rise over the city.
Clean and Simple Design
The flooring was made from a dark ceramic tile in a stacked, subway layout. This configuration gave the space a modern feel while using a solid surface material that can keep up with the foot traffic of guests going from the rooftop deck to the enclosed space
Modern Cabinetry
Because the size of the space was rather small, we started with designing the wet bar so that it had a clean look with flat-front oak cabinet doors in a fireside finish. The frosted glass backsplash helped keep the streamlined look while reflecting light into the space.
